About the event

This class will focus on selling stabs, cuts and slashes with swords and knives!

Come jam with us in a supportive, joy-filled space where we focus on safety, story, and style — and maybe make a few new friends along the way. Let’s swing some punches and have a blast together!

Each session includes a warm-up, foundational skills, partnered choreography, and optional open time to explore or ask questions.

Please try to arrive by 6:00 PM at the latest, so you have time to get settled and we can all warm up safely together.

Morgan will be at the space at 5:50 PM to let people in so that you can get settled.

Life happens. If you're running late, let us know, and we’ll keep an eye out for you!

FAQ

Experience Necessary?

I curate the drop-ins to the skill sets in the room. We start the day with a little intro and check-in, along with a warm-up that suits the content we are looking to explore. The goal is to play, work on new skills or hone old ones. If you are looking to really dig into technique, try bringing a pal with a similar skill set and a focus and we can make it happen.

What to Bring/Wear

  • Clothing: movement-friendly clothes and closed-toe shoes/sneakers.

  • Gear: Weapons provided, or bring your own if you have one.

  • Water/snack: Optional, but recommended.

Can I bring my stage safe weapons?

For found weapon - if you have a fun prop you would like to explore, feel free to bring it! Just note, it shouldn't be something too precious! If you have stage-safe weapons that you want to work with, you are welcome to bring them. Please note the material, such as whether they are steel or aluminum, and ensure that you are safely transporting them in a "sword bag" to ensure you and the people around you feel safe. Otherwise, I have got you covered!

Accessibility

The venue is physically accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility aids, with accessible washrooms. Please reach out if you have any specific access needs or requests.I also have a collection of fidgets and sensory tools available for folks who need them.
